Harmony Captain — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Harmony Captain (harmonycaptain.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use this service. Harmony Captain is operated by Mark Salcedo. Questions may be directed to legal@harmonycaptain.com.

2. Description of Service

Harmony Captain is a music studio management platform that allows music teachers to manage students, lessons, scheduling, billing, and communications. Access is by invitation from a teacher.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating or updating your account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at legal@harmonycaptain.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. SMS Notifications

If you opt in to SMS notifications through your profile settings, you consent to receive text messages from Harmony Captain related to your lessons and account. Standard message and data rates may apply.

  • Message frequency varies based on your lesson schedule and account activity.
  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply START or UNSTOP to re-enable. Reply HELP for assistance.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Transmit harmful, offensive, or misleading content through the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its content (excluding user-provided data) are the property of Mark Salcedo. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mark Salcedo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at our discretion, particularly in cases of misuse or violation of these terms. You may request account deletion by contacting legal@harmonycaptain.com.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mark Salcedo operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
